Welcome back to Mom's No Chaos Zone!
Family meal times are a great way for your family to connect at the beginning or end of the day. Unfortunately the dining room table can be a major clutter-catcher. How is your dining room table looking? Take some time today to clear it off and make it a pleasant place to have dinner tonight. If your table is already clean kick it up a notch and find something attractive for a table decoration. You don’t have to spend any money. If you’re lucky enough to have some blooming flowers already, pick some and put them in a pretty vase or a quart sized canning jar. (we use both!) Or recycle some decor from storage. Your imagination is the only limit!
When you’re done, come back and post a comment! If you have a blog feel free to post pictures and links. At midnight tonight (March 4th) I’ll pick out one commenter to receive a Night Owl Devotions package. I can’t wait to hear about what you do!
Have fun!!!

We don’t have a dining room but the kitchen table is now cleaned off…next I have to get something going for dinner (I forgot to defrost the chicken).
Thanks for the chance to win the Night Owl Devotions, I could really use that
Glad to say my table was cleared it just needed a good scrubbing as it is textured, lol. I did grab a pretty medium sized basket and put tea cups, saucers, and things in it along with some homemade instant flavored teas and put it smack in the middle. This way we can all sit as a family for a easy to set up tea time that we can all enjoy. Now, in a bit I’m on to make a large batch of doughnuts so we can have those with tea in a snap. Hopefully this will be one more step to a closer family.
Ok, I think Jenn has been spying on my place!!
Our kitchen/dinning room area is to small for a table so we use the bar (when we can). I decided to take the challenge today and get the junk on it gone through, wash it down, and have dinner there again. I did it, yeah!! Even with all the interruptions today we were able to sit down and eat there for the first time since Christmas time. Even had a candle for decorations. Thanks Jenn for helping me get it cleaned up again!
