Welcome back to Mom's No Chaos Zone!
Ok, here is the place for newsletter readers to enter their “ugly frogs” !
To recap the contest, look over your to-do list. Pick out the worst item on there – the one that you’ve been putting off because it’s tedious, messy, stressful… you know the one! Now DO that to-do! Just dive in and start, and don’t stop till its done! When you’re done, come back and post a comment about what your “ugly frog” was and how you feel to have it off your plate now.
Two winners will receive my brand new audio workshop “Morning, Noon, and Night, Balancing your Busy, Sometimes Chaotic Life While Doing what Really Matters.” This audio is for Christian moms who are wanting to manage their days gracefully.
Deadline for entries is tonight at midnight. I’ll announce the winner here on the site tomorrow!
Now go forth and conquer!
ps — if you are NOT on my newsletter list, you can still enter. While you’re at it, look over to your right and sign up for the Mom’s No Chaos Zone newsletter so you don’t miss out on any future events!

I am attempting the ugly frog contest. The frog has been located, photographed and posted to my blog for accountability.
This is going to be quite a day!!
Jennifer,
My ugly frog is to begin the process of moving my Website from my iWeb software to a WordPress site. Uggh! I have been dreading this because I have a lot of information on my site. Well, I have taken the first step! Yea! I am working through Cindy’s tutorials and have WordPress installed finally and am ready to begin the process of moving all my information over. I am excited the big first step is done, and I am ready to move on.
Blessings to everyone else! We can do it!
I’ve been working on my ugly frog all day. Yes, even throughout the seminar, thankfully my children cooperated with me! Homeschool, yep that’s my frog. I have plans and grades that need to be entered on the computer, somehow this quarter i fell behind on doing it. At least i did keep records though. Also motivating my children to just get it done instead of wasting the day fighting me over it. So far so good. Were having to redo a few assignments and i realized these are the areas where they should be doing the work together instead of separate. This means of course i need to make some changes. So… I’ll work all that out as well…… Ill figure out the rest in my blog and have it posted for me to remember and continue to work on. Suggestions and comments are always welcomed.
Ok, the frog is gone. Check it out!!
I’m just gonna go veg in front of the TV now.
My ugliest frog has been eaten. I needed to make a historical
outfit for each of my girls to attend a historical costume party.
The hard part was no pattern. One was a pilgrim outfit and one
was a late 1600′s peasant girl. I spend hours searching to see how
people were dressed, prayed, and tackled it. (And I never sew
without patterns!) My girls were pleasantly surprised when I
finished and so was I. What a load off of my shoulders after dreading
this for 2 wks. Thanks for the challenge! Carolyn
Great work gals! Martha gets one audio for sure for the ugly frog WITH pictures! Jane and Megan — did y’all get your frogs down?? Great work Carolyn — deadline was last night midnight but wow, what a project!
Thinking about having a weekly Thursday challenge — what do y’all think?
Yep i got my frog down, well mostly since entering school grades are of course something ill have to keep up on . Entered my new plan for school on my blog and will be thinking on it more this weekend because i think i might want to change a thing or two still like the Fri reading so they can do reports then instead of reading. I don’t like having to assign homework on the weekends and interfering with their time with papa. This frog will take a bit more fine tuning but i got the part i had been dreading done. Now hopefully i can focus on the more fun parts! I also got to thinking that my kids learn great through movies so i went on netflix and ordered as many movies as i could find on current history subjects and ones we recently did but they had issues remembering stuff. So far i have about 50 movies in my Que. Were going to have some fun with Abe, they had a lot of movies on him. Oh yea i also got school for the rest of the year planned wahoo!
Forgot to comment on the weekly Thur.challenge. I think its a great idea i sure need the extra push to keep me on track sometimes and having other moms to keep me accountable is great fun. TY.
